Alpha Helix kinks Assessed by Humans (AH^AH): a bioinformatics crowd-sourcing experiment making use of your puzzle solving skills.
AH^AH is a crowd-sourcing project carried out by the Oxford Protein Informatics Group (OPIG). The aim is to utilize human puzzle solving skills to coin a new gold standard on the definition of kinks in protein α helices. This is of special interest for our research because kinks play a fundamental role in cellular signal transduction and drug discovery. Further news and progress reports can be found at our group blog.
